What Restory stores

Restory records changes to the products in your Shopify store: titles, descriptions, prices, SKUs, barcodes, tags, status, vendor, product type, SEO fields, image references, and variant details. We also store your shop domain, shop name, and the shop owner email address (used only for optional price-change alerts and support replies).

What Restory does not store

We do not access or store customer data, orders, payment information, or storefront analytics. Our access scopes are limited to products.

Where data lives

Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted in the United States (AWS us-east-1) and processed on servers in the United States. Product image files are not copied; we reference Shopify's CDN URLs.

Retention and deletion

Change history is retained per your plan (90 days on Core, 365 days on Plus). If you uninstall Restory, all of your shop's data is permanently deleted within 48 hours. GDPR data requests and redaction webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact) are honored automatically; since we store no customer data, customer requests return empty results.

Sharing and subprocessors

We do not sell or share your data with third parties. The following subprocessors handle data solely on our behalf: Fly.io (application hosting), Neon (database hosting), PostHog (anonymous product analytics), Sentry (error monitoring), and Resend (transactional email for optional price-change alerts).

Contact

Questions or data requests: contact the developer, Huptech Web Private Limited, via the support email listed on the Restory app listing.
